Welcome
Emily Boyer, horn, and Colleen Potter Thorburn, harp, are apple orange pair, a dynamic new classical duo that performs original and transcribed works for horn and harp. We strive to delight, enliven, and inspire audiences of all ages through live performances, outreach concerts, and educational demonstrations. We are also committed to advancing the 21st-century repertoire for horn and harp and highlighting the music of talented young composers.
We are excitedly approaching the culmination of our 2011-2012 commissioning project: a full-length album, to be recorded and released between January and May 2013! It will prominently feature pieces written especially for our duo. Our Kickstarter campaign begins November 1 and runs for 30 days.
